*system failure is imminent*

This is my first post. In it I’d like to tell you all about what to expect from my subsequent posts. I must admit and apologize to the fact that a lot of what I’ll be writing as I try to find my voice, will probably be a lot of rambling and scattered ideas…bear with me.

So let’s start nice and easy.  What is HRobot anyway?

The blog title comes from the idea that we in the workforce shouldn’t behave as robots – that we aren’t process driven, we’re not following some “program”, and our behavioral patterns are not predictable. Plus, it’s pretty clever, right?

Me: I work in corporate HR.  I’m passionate, impulsive, and I will certainly tell you what I think –especially when you are doing something wrong! I will try to empower people I work with to make great decisions on hiring and keeping awesome people.  Mostly, I’m just trying to make my mark

-Random thoughts

Ideally I’ll actually have something useful to say, and not just clever repackaging all of the other great thoughts and ideas that are already out there – of which there are many. Check the blog roll for those that have inspired me to create this blog, along with some other entertaining folks
