About

HRobot is yet another blog from a no-name HR professional trying to make it through the day. I’m overly sarcastic most of the time and I truly DO enjoy working in HR, despite what my coworkers think.

I work in corporate HR for a large insurance and financial services company in the NY Metro area.  I’ve been in HR for over 3 years, and it’s awesome!

Hopefully this blog will actually provide some great ideas, and some actionable items for those of us HR bloggers who work for large companies.  I know you’re out there, and we need to speak up!

*Note: the views expressed in this blog are solely MINE and NOT of my employer (who shall remain nameless) or any of it’s subsidiaries and associates; any reference to my job or employer are simply my OPINION and do not in any way reflect the business practices and views of my employer

  1. Good luck with the blog Daniel. It’s good to see another HR pro (especially from New York) dive into the medium and attempt to make their mark. I looking forward to your contributions!

  2. Thanks a lot Victorio! I’m excited. Us NY’ers need to stick together! =)

  3. Just subscribed – can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  4. Sarah – that means a lot! thanks for the support, and hope I don’t disappoint.

  5. New York? Pfft. I guess I’ll pay attention anyway. :-) Good luck, Daniel. If you need any help with anything, just let me know. Love the name/tagline.

  6. haha thanks a lot Ben! that means a lot coming from a recognized name such as yourself. And the East Coast needs some more representation in the HR blogosphere!

  7. May be you discuss day-to-day issues. One issue can be taken a day. This way the blog will also be updated everyday. I have subscribed you with this hope.

  8. @ Neeraj – thanks for the tip! I’ve been absent a lot lately due to a big project at work – which I’ll write about at some point. I definitely have some stuff waiting to get posted – all in due time. Thanks a lot for the subscription, I hope I don’t disappoint.
